This berry bowl, hand thrown and glazed in New York, combines beauty and utility. The leaf pattern cut into the clay makes the bowl stand on its own as a decorative object, but I prefer to put it to use, placing a few of them on the kitchen table filled with fresh berries, cherries or grapes for kids and guests to snack on throughout the day. Each comes with a handy dish to place beneath the bowl to catch any water left after washing the fruit. I love this cheerful white speckled glaze.
